Flying bugs in my kitchen. Photo enclosed what are these and how do I stop them from entering my windows

The pictures are not great but these look like ant plates.  could they be coming from a nest inside your house, of coming in from a nest outside the house?

To get an ID, send specimens to the UF Insect ID Lab.  See instructions on the site (http://entnemdept.ufl.edu/insectid/)

Otherwise, take to your local County Extension Office.
