Is Lawn Algae dangerous for grazing animals? Is it the same as moss? Or the beginning of the growth process of moss? We get this is very wet areas, shaded areas and around there water troughs.
How do we eliminate it? Do we need to completely remove the soil? Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Algae is not harmful to grazing animals. Moss and algae are two different species. The presence of algae is indicative of persistent moisture in an area with poor drainage. You don't need to eliminate the algae with regard to animal care, but you may want to try to improve drainage in this area so that you don't have standing water.
