Is this a tapeworm in my cat's vomit? #479655

Not sure what type of worm this is as it doesn't look exactly like the tapeworms I've seen online.

It looks like a tapeworm, but to be sure, you should contact your veterinarian. Check to see if there are tapeworm segments around your cat's anus and tail area.

Typically cats don't vomit tapeworms, but they can if the tapeworm releases its attachment in the intestines and migrates to the stomach. The tapeworm can be several inches long.

I am not a veterinarian, so, again, I recommend you contact your veterinarian, as regardless of the type of worm, the cat needs treated.
