Hi,

My Cucumber plants leaves are pale Green Instead of a Healthy Dark Green.  They are growing in 5 gallon containers on my backyard. There is plenty of light. Good drainage, I add fertilizer every 10 - 15 days. Appreciate all the help

Expert Response

Well, the plant does look pretty healthy in spite of the color. They don't appear to be wilting or have damage related to pests or fungal infection. Are you fertilizing the plants? Cucumbers need to be "fed" regularly throughout the season to be productive. Check out this similar question and answer:

Be careful not to overfertilize, but that looks like it may be nitrogen deficiency. Here's some more information: https://aggie-horticulture.tamu.edu/vegetable/problem-solvers/cucurbit-problem-solver/leaf-disorders...

Hope this is helpful.
