What is wrong with my berries and how can I help them? I know there has been bug damage to the leaves, is this related or something else? Are these still safe to eat?

The leaf damage is probably Japanese beetle damage. Japanese beetles are widespread in Minnesota now. Read here:

It is hard to tell what you are seeing in or on the fruit from your photo. I see some white drupelets - perhaps that is your concern. This disorder is caused by heat and sun. Read here:
