Need help with wet sunny area that never dries out #470894

One of our in town lots never dries out even though it's sunny. We are looking for flowering plants that will absorb the extra water. Thanks.

Thank you for the question. You might enjoy planting rain garden type perennials in the area. Depending on whether the area is damp or has standing water, there are plants that can work. Water tolerant plants with extensive, deep, root structures will make good use of the moisture. The following resources offer many choices for your perusal:
