hi, we have a prairifire crabapple planted 5-23-18. the leaves have turned yellow with brown and green rings on them. they are now browning and falling off. we also just noticed two spots where the bark is separating. can this tree be saved?

Hi,
I would contact the UNH diagnostic lab and see if they want you to send in a sample. Crabapples get a lot of diseases. Some are more easily controlled than others but a definitive diagnosis would be important before a control suggestion could be made. Here is their website.
