New guinia impatiens had blooms when I planted the 3 weeks ago; now no blooms. In retaining wall on north side of garage. They get some morning and some late afternoon sun. Have not been fertilized yet. Why no blooms? Attached two photos of now and one the week I planted them.

Some thoughts:
1). While New Guinea Impatiens are more sun tolerant than regular impatiens, they have their limits when it comes to blooming. It is recommended that the sun they receive be in the morning rather than tin he afternoon. Afternoon sun, especially this time of the year, tends to be more direct and warmer than morning sun.
2). When you planted them, it was a period of very warm, even hot, weather in your area. This might have had a negative impact upon their blooming.
3). Transplanting is always a shock for most plants. This may have caused the initial blossoms to fall off. Overall the plants look healthy and should resume blooming in the near future.
In the meantime, take a look at the following two sites which provide more information as to the general care of New Guineas as well as the factors that are involved in their blooming:

Thanks!!
Thank you for the question. BTW, I thoroughly enjoy NG impatiens and have several of them interspersed among my hosta. For many years I have tried to over winter them in my house with spectacular failure.
