I have these in my yard in a few places, and after pretty extensive Googling, I can't seem to find what it is. When kicked, it turns to dust. Can anyone help me identify it?

We believe it to be a mushroom of some sort. The photo is a bit distant from the object. But it is probably an Earthstar Mushroom: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Astraeus_hygrometricus
