Ohio Buckeye leaves curling #454559

My Ohio Buckeye tree has all its leaves curling why would this be?

County Minnesota

Expert Response

These appear to be young trees. Without a closeup of the leaves I cannot rule out a pest.. However curling leaves are a sign of stress, especially lack of moisture. When low on water buckeye leaves also develop scorch. See: http://www.mortonarb.org/trees-plants/tree-plant-descriptions/ohio-buckeye Our recent low humidity and high temps could be the cause. Water the trees well throughout the growing season.

Thanks for the response. No pest  that I can see to my knowledge. It has been dry and hot so I’m going to give it a good soaking over the next week or two.
