My power was out for about 20 hours. My indoor temperature dropped to the low 50s, and when I opened my refrigerator as power was restored, the temperature inside the refrigerator was 50 degrees F.
Are the eggs, still in their cardboard carton, usable, or should they be discarded?

Hi,
Thank you for your question. I'm sorry to hear about the power outage. Ideally your fridge would hold at a temperature of 41 degrees F and lower.
Eggs are safe to hold at 45F and less, but seeing how your fridge was above 45F, it is safer to throw out the eggs.

If you have additional questions please let me know.
Again, thank you for your question.
