That looks like one of the golden silk spiders (Nephilia spp.). Was this picture taken in Michigan?

Hi, . Thanks for the answer I’m from Indonesia. I only saw that some of spider expert are from michigan so I tried to post in here. Indonesia is in south east asia and my city is Jakarta and it is located in Java Island.
Nephilia spiders are mostly tropical so I would have been very surprised if the photo was taken in Michigan. I am not familiar with Indonesian spiders but Nephilia probably occur there.

Its my first time seeing her. Not a fan of insect, but quite okay and not afraid with spiders and scorpion. And it is the biggest spider that I have met so far. Is she have venom? Will she make a good pet?
I'm sure she has venom. I don't know enough about the spiders in your part of world to be able to say what kind of pet she would make.
