your 11/17 newsletter includes the comment that "Ticks remain active as long as temps are in upper 30s." obviously it should state "or above" or alternatively "until temps drop below upper 30s." no doubt most people understood, but why not say it and everything accurately so no one will misunderstand? recognizing that great scientists might be lousy writers and vice versa, and that you are part of a university that has many disciplines present, has anyone at hgic considered enlisting editorial support either from an intern or otherwise? obviously it would be helpful if such person knows something about hort, but, regardless, think such involvement would be beneficial to all concerned.

you all do a great job, and this was a bonafide nitpick that would not have sent in if it hadn't been for the constructive idea about using an intern studying english or journalism.
