For the past ten years this tree has not had brown needles...and they are spreading fast. I don't want to lose it. Could someone tell me what I need to do?

Hi there,
Are you sure you have never seen this in prior Falls? Most of our conifers drop their interior, older needles in the Fall. Spruce usually hold onto their needles for 5-7 years, so it might just be that the tree is finally old enough to have needles to drop.
