Weeds in my garden: pull or plow? #427541
Asked September 19, 2017, 8:29 AM EDT
I have this one kind of weed in my gardens all the time. I've been pulling it, but itcome back every time. This weed's root system is deep and aggressive. I'm attaching pictures.
Question: can I simply plow under these weeds, or would that be a mistake; should I continue the very difficult work of pulling them instead?

Expert Response
The plant in the photo appears to be a kind of purslane. Go to the following websites to learn more about it. The plants have set seed pods so be sure to remove them before the seeds scatter.
