evergreen trees with yellow/brown needles #418455

Asked August 01, 2017, 12:53 PM EDT

Two evergreen trees in our tree plot of 18 evergreens are showing yellow needles. First tree (attached photo) started showing yellow needles a couple of years ago but still has green needle s intermixed. Blue Spruce next to this tree is starting to show yellow needles at it's top for the first time this year. Do you have any suggestions on how to stop this condition?

The trees may have scale or spider mites. The following site will help you find signs of these tiny critters.

You should consider hiring a certified arborist to examine  all of your trees.  He will have the education and training to identify the problems.  Pictures do not allow us to examine the tree in enough detail to find signs of scale or spider mites.
