Sick coneflower #416703

Something is attacking my coneflowers, when I examine the wilted leaves I can't see any thing moving. Ken

That looks more like some kind of bacterial disease.. Note the small black dots and yellowing of leaves.  Try to keep the leaves dry by watering at the bottom of the plants.  Can you remove the affected leaves and spray the plant with a fungicide.
I would cut the plants down to the ground in the fall and remove any plant stems and leaves.
