Leaves have tiny holes in them #414647

Asked July 16, 2017, 5:38 PM EDT

I noticed a lot of dead leaves around my lindens. The leaves were brown and they had very many small tiny holes in them.

Lindens are lovely trees but are subject to several pests.  If your tree is healthy and you water it deeply during dry spells and fertilize it say yearly it should be able to easily handle any insect onslaught.  After all the tree and the pests have evolved together and have learned to coexist.  If the overall aspect of your tree is still good looking and the green leaves do not look wilted things should be fine.
