bugs on thistle plants #412862
Asked July 09, 2017, 1:12 PM EDT
What are these greyish shiney moist creatures? Tiny ones on underside of leaves, larger ones on top of leaves?
Baltimore County Maryland
Expert Response
That looks to be an immature stage of a beetle, perhaps the larvae of a potato beetle.
The plant it is on is thistle-like with thorns, but it is known as horsenettle.
