Dogwood tree diseases #412431

Asked July 07, 2017, 12:01 PM EDT

I have 3 Dogwood trees that have black spots on their leaves and on one branch the leaves are turning red and that particular branch is turning black. I have been using " Bonide" Fung-onil with no success. What can I use to stop this fungus and should I trim off that branch?

I believe the photo of the dead branch reveals Golden Canker. Here is information on how to deal with it: http://blog-yard-garden-news.extension.umn.edu/2009/04/golden-canker-on-pagoda-dogwood.html  The leaves show signs of Septoria Leaf Spot http://www.extension.umn.edu/garden/diagnose/plant/deciduous/dogwood/leavesspots.html
