When is the best tiime to transplant rhubarb and what is the best food (fertilizer )to use?

Hello,

Thank you for your questions.

Here are some the answers -- early spring best.  Early fall okay.  If planted in the fall, mulch with straw as cold weather sets in.  Fertilize in the spring, 1 cup 10-10-10 per plant spread around the crown not on the crown (promotes rotting).  Aged compost good anytime.  Don't place "raw" manure on/or around the plant.....best to incorporate manure into the compost and let it decompose.
