I rem #411303

Asked July 02, 2017, 2:36 PM EDT

I found that sneaky orange silly string, "Dodder" on a couple plants in my wild flower patch.  I removed every little bit, and cut off stems that were affected.  I disposed of the strings, and will watch the plants carefully for reinfestation.  Is there anything else I should know or do?
Thank you,

Here is the best fact sheet I found on Dodder.  http://ipm.ucanr.edu/PMG/PESTNOTES/pn7496.html

Looks like a pre-emergent next year would be a good idea before the seeds germinate.
