I put down some slug bait (iron phosphate) but we had so much rain and I didn't want to use more iron phosphate. Then I sprinkled some DE earth around the base of the plants, but not on the leaves. This spotting is on older leaves but has not showed up on the younger leaves. At least not yet.

Expert Response
We are not sure what is causing this type of spotting, as the symptoms do not appear to be anything we commonly see in bean plants. Since the new leaves are coming in healthy, continue to monitor the plant and contact us again if you see the symptoms spread (or any new symptoms) in the new foliage.
