Leafcutter bees in the siding of my house #405385

Hello! I have these little bees burrowing into my house. I *think* they are leafcutter bees. I'd hate to kill pollinators, but I really don't want them eating my home. Two things:
1. Do you agree that they are leafcutter bees?
2. What is the best way to get rid of them?
Thanks so much!

Expert Response
Dear Katie,
I do think they may be leaf cutter bees. They are nesting in the foam that was sprayed under your siding because foam is an easy substance to excavate. To manage the nesting habit simply cover the foam with caulking to exclude the bees.
