Plant identification #404967

Asked June 05, 2017, 10:15 PM EDT

Hello,
Would you please tell me what kind of flower / plant this is?
It may be a type of sedum. It's growing in my flagstone wall.
Thanks,  Mary

Expert Response

It is one of the sedums. It spreads readily, tolerates hot and dry weather and has been problem free for me. I have it in my garden and a friend gave it to me so I don't know the variety.

Thanks Evelyn,
I was hoping to buy more and was looking for the name of the variety.

I'm not quite sure of the variety--Golden Tear Drop seems to be close. I too have some in my garden--I'd happily dig some up for you.

Thank You Sue P!
THAT'S IT!
And, thanks for graciously offer to share the plants.
I'm removing tiny new buds that are dropping off and growing in the sand and transplanting them one small gem at a time

They are very easy to start from cuttings and they are enthusiastic spreaders. Next year you will have lots.
