How do I treat mite infestation in my nose and is there anywhere I can send a taped sample? #404721

Hi,
I never had this problem before despite moving apartments every couple of years. Then I left my last apartment and moved in with my sister for about 6 months. I was fine in her place up until I did my laundry in her building. I usually did my laundry at the public laundromat and surprisingly I didn't have any problems from that, but the night I did my laundry at my sister's public laundry room everything smelled bad and when I laid down for bed with my head under the cover as always, my bedding stunk and it felt like someone has emptied the contents of a vacuum bag or vacuum canister all over my face and every time I breathed in it went up my nose. It was awful but I thought "Well, this is fresh clean laundry so this can't be happening. It will go away soon." But it didn't go away and the next morning I had creepy crawlies all over my face, my face itched and my facial skin was visibly irritated. Soon after it turned into rashes and peeling, my face constantly itched, it spread into my eyes, into my ear canals and into my nostrils. I did research and eventually started using tea tree oil on my face and bought special black-colored "peel off" masks for purification but absolutely nothing helped. I started taking all kinds of vitamins said to stop parasites, like a wormwood combination. Now, about 2 years later it still feels like I have tiny ants crawling all around inside my nostrils and also on the outside of my nose literally 100% of the time I'm awake. Sometimes as I scratch my nose it's like whatever parasite this is crawls away from my fingernails and then the crawling and itching spreads to my face, undereye area or upper lip, sometimes my chin or near my ear. Obviously this is horrible, so what should I do? There were a ton of old people in my young sister's apartment complex so I'm thinking whatever was on one of those people was left in the washer/dryer, got plastered all over my stuff along with whatever that stench was, and transferred to me as I lay on it and wore my clothes for a few days until saying "Okay no, I have to wash all this again at my usual place." This is horrific really, can you imagine feeling like invisible ants are crawling around inside of your nose and all over the outside of your nose during 100% of your waking hours? It's horrible. I have no history of mental illness and I have never EVER had this before the fateful laundry/stench/vacuum bag empties all over my face night. What can I do? The oils and herbal pills didn't work - well I guess they worked SOME because it eventually boiled down into my nose instead of affecting my entire face. Please advise! And where can I send a sample stuck on tape for someone to tell me what these are so I'll know what I need to research how to kill? For what it's worth the outside of my nose is covered in white peach fuzz since the initial incident and I think that may be part of the problem on the outer skin. Thanks for anything that helps me fix this. Edit: To clarify about the stench, my laundry went into the washing machines without any odors and came out of the dryers with a very strong stench I had never smelled before. I guess I was admittedly dumb to lie down on it but my brain said my laundry was freshly washed and clean so... Edit 2: I can see the white peach fuzz that covers the entire outside of my nose (but not the bridge of my nose) because I have naturally tan skin. I've never had white peach fuzz on my nose before and I'm female so even if some men have that, I shouldn't have it.

I am not a medical doctor, and am not qualified to render medical advice.
I do know insects, though, and what you are describing is NOT the behavior of any insect that I know of that attacks humans (and there are very, very few that can attack humans).
I would suggest that you first contact your family doctor. It is possible that you are having a reaction to medications that you are on (and definitely, provide a list of all the herbal concoctions and home remedies that you've been trying). You may also have any of a number of diseases or conditions that could be causing these symptoms, or making you sensitive to other factors in the environment.
Your doctor might then send you to an allergist, to see if there is something you are allergic to in this apartment. Things like mold, carpet fibers, etc., have been known to cause allergic reactions to the skin (itching, redness), and to breathing. Allergy testing is a long, drawn out procedure, but I think it would be an excellent first step.
Avoid using any insecticides or herbal treatments until after you've seen your doctor and/or allergist.
I wish you the best of luck!
