Annual for east side of house #397590

What are a couple of options for an annual on east side of house, full morning to mid-day sun. Preferably grow to 24 inches. Also, be nice if rabbits did not like to eat. I will once again plant marigolds in front ( west facing bed ) as they did well last year and rabbits left them alone . . this is my second summer in rental. Thank you Thanks
