Pear tree - red splotchy, curled leaves #396705

Our 5 year old pear tree has not done well.  In her third year she produced two pears.  Now it is beautiful and full of blossoms, looks healthy, but many of the leaves red blotches (not orange) and are curled.  What can we do  to help her...what is causing this?  Our thanks,  Terri and Keith

The leaf curling and red blotches on your pear's leaves could be caused by the Pear Leaf Blister Mite, which creates red blisters on the leaves and early leaf fall. Fruits may also be blistered.
