I have patches of the attached grass/weed in some fields that I'm trying to identify. I've tried to search the web but not coming up with a conclusive ID.

Looks like crested wheatgrass, but I can't tell for sure from the photo. If it's a bunch grass that is already starting to green up again this spring, then it's probably crested wheatgrass. Crested wheatgrass is an ok forage. I wouldn't plant it, but not worth trying to get rid of.
