orange substance leaking from underground hole down over the hill by creek. #389770

we have a orange (rust looking) substance seeping from a hole underground way down over the hill by the creek , we are wanting to get it tested, as we have been told it sulfur that comes from coal. Does your lab test water for this? Thank You cindy schneider

The Lab does test for sulfur compounds. Please carefully review all the information on this site before you get your water test kit, as you may need to select the right kit for the test you are looking for.

Water testing needs to be done with fresh water samples taken quickly to the lab. You may want to see if there is a water testing lab close to your location, as an alternative.
