I have noticed an inordinate amount of large broken branches off pine trees in Annapolis and Baltimore County. Are the trees victim to a disease or could this be weather related. Thank you.

There could be many reasons for broken branches such as wind, snow, ice damage, etc.  This does not sound disease related.
