1" worms under our garage door weatherstrip #374681

Asked November 03, 2016, 1:26 PM EDT

We have hundreds of these 1", multileg, worms that show up under the weatherstrip of our garage door after a rain. Lately they are showing up more often even without rain and tend to get into the house. Can you please advise on what these are and how to control them. Thank you, Jim Kuehn

You are seeing millipedes. They usually are found where there is decaying/wet material such as grass, paper, cardboard, etc. This link explains what they are and have suggestions for control: http://www.extension.umn.edu/garden/insects/find/sowbugs-millipedes-centipedes/
