Apple tree problem #374428

There is a white web like substance on our apple tree. What is it and what can I do about it

Hello, Based on the picture I can't really tell what your tree might have. I do see some white, but I can't tell if it's insect (could be wooly aphid) or the natural hairs that young shoots of many apples have. If it easily wipes off then it's probably some pest or disease.
