Hello. I live just W of downtown Mpls. (suburbs). 1.) I found this one stray 'plant' while out walking this morning & pulled it - please tell me what it is because I'd love to try to keep it growing. 2 PICS ATTACHED 2.) This winter I would like to try to grow a few herbs all winter - only a 'small' number, about the size that would cover a regular stovetop (spacewise). I've been reading about 'grow light bulbs', in particular 'CFL' (condensed fluoresc. lighting/lightbulbs). I do NOT want to buy any traditional 'long tube' fluor. lighting fixtures but ONLY use light bulbs. I READ ON ONE WEBSITE THAT WHAT I SHOULD TRY is to use the 'CFL' lightbulbs, PLUS the GE 'Reveal' type, plus any other brand promoting itself as promoting 'nice white/authentic sun' sort of lighting. DO YOU THINK THIS IS TRUE? WHAT I HAVE IN MIND is that I would just set 3 little lamps by my herbs & keep all of them on for x / hrs. / day. TY !
