Does the dark area on this almond look like mold? It was in a package of "raw" almonds.

From the pictures, it is too difficult to tell whether this is mold or not.
I don't have a great camera, but I can look at the nut with a magnifying glass. Are there close up photos of moldy almonds you can point me to?
Most times, the mold on almonds will be white mold, unless it is mold affecting the plant.
There is something called brown spot and this may be it.
