Hi! I was recently at the Laurentian Environmental Center in Britt, MN. At night the insect in this photo was in the cabin and I haven't been able to identify it. The long thing coming off the head looks like a horn or beak. It was clearly winged, but that is not as easily seen in the picture. The insect was about 3/4" in body, and the beak/horn was about the same length (maybe 1.5" total length).
