Repost with flower, grows all around eldorado lake. What is it. ?

Thank you very much Jacki. It has been buggin me for a few years now. I never even considered it to be a sunflower.

I've seen it featured in some garden books as a suggestion for the back of a flower border, but have never seen it offered for sale here in Oregon.
