Asked September 14, 2016, 6:21 PM EDT

In September, plant is 4.5' tall, flowering.  Flowers seem to be yellow in bud, but go to a small dandelion-puff  right away, leaving behind a naked disk similar to that of a dandelion.

The pictures look like two different plants?? I cannot identify the plant on the left.  The plant on the right is called horseweed (Conyza canadensis).  It is an annual plant.  Link below provides more detailed information.
