CHILLI PLANT ID #361782

Asked September 11, 2016, 7:28 PM EDT

I planted a few chili pepper seeds from a packet of dried chilis, bought at an Asian store. The packet bore  label of GUAJILLO pepper.
The plants grown from the seed have flowered and fruited. The green chili is about 5 inches in length  and one and a quarter inches in width, and my friend claims it is an ANAHEIM Chili.
Attached are photos of the Plant, Flower and Chili.
Please identify whether the plant is Guajillo or Anaheim chili pepper.

Expert Response

This is a Guajillo; Anaheim is a wider fruit.
