Plant identification so it can be properly cared for. #360139

What is this plant? ( I think it is a shrub since it has several trunks which don't have a diameter more than several inches)
I'd like to know what it is and how it should be trimmed so that it stays healthy and also small enough that it doesn't interfere with the house it is next to or get in the way of the driveway on the other side of the plant.

From best I can tell from your photos, the shrub is an American Cranberry Bush (Viburnum trilobum)http://www.extension.umn.edu/garden/yard-garden/trees-shrubs/viburnum-trilobum/  
This shrub grows 6-to 12 feet high and 6-12 feet wide. These summer flowering shrubs flower on the current season’s growth. Prune in winter while still dormant or in early spring before growth begins:
