Oak Tree Dying? #359436

I have a mature pin oak whose lower limbs are dying over time. I have attached a picture where you can see dead limbs, and some other limbs that appear to be dying. Is the tree dying, and if so, is there anything I can do to help it.

Your tree canopy does look thin. While it is not uncommon for lower branches of oaks to die back, it looks like more is involved. Are you seeing lots of dead wood up higher in the tree?
We can't say exactly what is going on from a distance, and would recommend having an on-site evaluation with a tree health expert, a.k.a. a certified arborist.
