What is this? How do I get rid of it? I have shoveled them out and Treated with fungicide. They keep returning and multiplying. They smell terrible. I call them stink horn fungus?? They start as a white ball with roots and then open up. Please help! No one else seems to have them.

They are just one of many different kind of funguses that are in our soils? When you have the right temp and rainfall then that's where they come from. There is not much you can do, other that shovel them out. they will go away when it gets dry again. nothing to worry about, just a pain in the posterior occasionally.
