My wife planted some milkweed seeds this spring. What has grown does not look like the milkweed I remember as a kid in SW Minnesota. I have attached pictures. It is almost 4 ft tall. One of them had black ants crawling on them.

The photos lack the detail needed to identify the plant. Please reply to this message and attach sharp photos of the blossoms when they are more fully developed. It would also help to shoot the photos when the plant is in full sun. We agree that it isn't a milkweed.
Bob, thank you for your reply. Just wanted to make sure it was not a milkweed. I am sure it is just some weed that happen to grow instead of the milkweed seeds she planted. Now I can pull it!
