cucumber plants are wilting #351346

Asked August 08, 2016, 5:50 PM EDT

My cucumber plants are wilting. I have a small garden plat on the community garden in NE Minneapolis. I want to know if it is possible to save the rest of the plants. And if it is, how and what to do for the matter?

Expert Response

Hi,

It may be bacterial wilt. You should remove the affected plants (do not compost). Here is information from the U:http://www.extension.umn.edu/garden/yard-garden/vegetables/diseases-of-cucurbits/bacterial-wilt/

Thank you for your inquiry and good luck! Replied August 09, 2016, 10:13 AM EDT
