How much of your whole canopy is affected? Can you get me a picture of the whole vine? Has it flowered and if so, was its bloom period normal, less flower or more flower production? Has this plant been flooded this year. If so, how many times? Do you know what type of soil you have, i.e., sandy, clay, loam? Have you ever had your soils mineral count tested?
Basicly with yellow vein chlorosis, the midribs and lateral veins turn yellow while the rest of the leaf remains a normal green color. This chlorosis is frequently attributed to girdling of individual branches or the tree trunk. It may also occur with the onset of cooler weather in the fall and winter due to reduced nitrogen uptake by the plant from the soil. Nitrogen deficiency is also associated with senescing foliage which can develop a yellow-bronze appearance prior to leaf drop. Nitrogen deficiency will limit plant growth and flower/fruit production, while high nitrogen applications produce excessive vegetative growth at the expense of flower/fruit production, reducing flower/fruit quality and threatening groundwater, particularly on vulnerable soil types.
The reddish coloring on the other leaves is known to happen on this vine is normally or no worries. A
