Hi-
The first picture is Serviceberry, also locally called Sarvis Berry. More technically, it's called Amelanchier, but I've never heard anyone refer to it as that. They make great eating and good preserves. My personal favorite is to bake them in a simple cobbler, placing them in a glass baking dish sprinkled with sugar, a little lemon juice, and a few pats of butter and covered with a crust sprinkled with some more sugar and a little cinnamon. YUM!
The other tree looks like a chokecherry. Keep an eye on it and let me know if they turn red and send another photo directly to me at <personal data hidden> If that's what it is, they can be juiced to make awesome jelly.
Let me know if you have other questions at that email address. Have a good weekend!

Thank You, I have been looking up chokecherries and the leaves on the second picture is longer. I will have to go up there again in a week to see what color the berries turned to.
Keep me posted on what you find out. If you get a chance to bring a sample by the local office (136 6th street, in the Courthouse Annex) do so. We will be closed next week for the County Fair, however.
