Worms in fountain pool #348752
Asked August 01, 2016, 8:05 AM EDT
We have a fountain with a combination underground and surface pool. The rocks in the pool are covered with a small worm about 1/2-3/4" long that curls up when touched - Brownish red color. Chlorine has not killed these worms. They seem to survive rather the pool is full or drained also. Any ideas?

Without seeing the worms it is hard to tell what they are. I suspect it could be millipedes. If you can take a good color photo and email it I can identify these or contact one of our entomologist to assist in their control. You may contact our office at (903) 590-2980.
