I am trying to identify this plant in that attached picture.

Salt Lake County Utah

The flower in the photo is Bachelor Button or also called Cornflower. This is a an old fashion reseeding annual. Blooms in the spring then the plant withers and reseeds. Some people call it a wildflower as it is often found in mixes. Hope that helps. Dennis
