What are the white spots on my okra? #342429

Can you tell me what the white spots are on my okra? It seems to be getting worse day by day. The okra pods themselves seem fine.

Is the foliage on the plants being eaten? If so, the white deposits are left behind by the caterpillars eating the foliage.
