Need help identifying this plant. My kids planted it from a seed packet in the spring and it was never labeled. I haven't a clue as to what it might be and it's driving me nuts lol. It is currently about 6 to 8 inches tall and started blooming small yellow flowers about the size of a quarter about a month or so ago.

Your plant has numerous common names, among them are portulaca, purslane or flowering purslane, and moss rose. It’s a close relative of the weedy purslane, Portulaca olearacea, which has small yellow flowers. Both the ornamental and weedy forms thrive during summer’s heat.
